Licensed Nail Technician

Moonstone Beauty Studio is a tranquil space located in historic Danvers, between the downtown area and major highways. We would love for a skilled nail technician with a clientele to join our team. Open to part time or full time availability.

I am a busy solo esthetician providing services Tuesday - Saturday. I take pride in providing a calm, quiet environment for customers to fully relax and make the most out of their session. Moonstone is handicap accessible, located on the first floor of a luxury apartment building. We share an entrance and parking lot with tenants. I have a breakroom equipped with a fridge, microwave, storage, and table. Laundry is off-site and sent to a local laundromat once a week. Restrooms are located in the lobby of the building.

Candidates must be able to:

Arrive early to set up before their first client
Check-in/out clients and perform credit card and cash transactions
Schedule and pre-book mani/pedi clients
Learn the scheduling & payment systems
Contribute to social media marketing efforts

Duties
- Perform natural manicure and pedicure services in accordance with spa protocols
- Assess client needs and recommend appropriate services
- Maintain cleanliness of the treatment rooms and equipment, including non-plumbed copper pedicure bowl
- Ensure the comfort of clients throughout the service
- Provide excellent customer service and build rapport with clients
- Keep up-to-date client records

Skills
- Expertise in basic manicure skills
- Impeccable sanitation protocol
- Strong understanding of nail anatomy
- Ability to provide exceptional client service and assessment
- Experience in hand, arm and foot massage

Licensed Esthetician

Danvers, MA

Moonstone Beauty Studio in Danvers is seeking a Massachusetts licensed Esthetician with a clientele for a part-time or full-time W2 employment position. We are also open to a rental opportunity. Our current offerings include Environ personalized facials, Microcurrent treatments, face & body waxing, lash & brow styling (no extensions), spray tanning and Reiki.

We are NOT a med-spa. We only offer services within an esthetician's scope of licensure; NO laser, IPL, full body lymphatic work, or injections.

Responsibilities

Setting up for the day
Check-in/out clients and perform credit card and cash transactions
Schedule and pre-book facial clients
Learn the scheduling & payment systems
Making retail recommendations and selling products
Cleaning up/breaking down your workspace
Contributing to social media marketing efforts

Qualifications

Clientele is a requirement
Minimum of 6 years actively working in esthetics/cosmetology field
Post-graduate certificates for services you will be offering (Dermaplaning, Microneedling, Lash Lifts, etc.)

Compensation

Negotiable and based on experience; hourly, commission, or hourly + commission
Open to a rental situation
